Working with parents

Description

The Key Issues series addresses some of the major challenges facing
early years settings and primary schools. ‘Parents as Partners’ is one
of the four themes of the EYFS and this book looks in detail at
why the relationship between the parent/practitioner/child is so
important, backed up by research into emotional development, studies
from Scandinavia and other countries. More importantly, it provides practical advice
and guidance on how successful parent partnerships can be achieved,
right from before children enter the school/setting through to when
they are ready to move on.
