About The Author

Celebrated artist Kveta Pacovská lives and works in Prague. Her career as an illustrator began more than 60 years ago, and her distinctively bold colors and use of strong geometric shapes are instantly recognizable. She has won many awards including the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Medal, and her recent books for minedition are Hansel and Gretel, The Little Flower King, My Bedtime Monster, and Number Circus.
